Our climate-friendly hin&weg in the sustainability week:

Monday: grilled vegetables with chickpeas, polenta and goat's cheese sauce
In this dish is largely dispensed with animal products. Cattle farming is considered to be a very important factor in methane emissions, which puts a particular strain on the climate. A less harmful alternative in the case of the sauce is a product based on goat whey.

Tuesday: pasta gratin with soya bolognese and tomato sauce
The dish is particularly climate-friendly by the renouncement of any animal products. Due to spices and its consistency, the substitute is similar to minced meat.

Wednesday: Spanish fried potatoes with mojo verde
Cooked from fresh potatoes, this dish is particularly climate-friendly. The rule of thumb is that the more processing steps a food has gone through, the more energy has been expended and the worse this is for the carbon footprint.

Thursday: Oriental falafel pan with zaziki dip or tomato salsa
This dish is a real alternative to similarly designed meat dishes. Meatless falafel and the use of a small amount of dairy products thus form a good basis for a more climate-friendly meal.

Friday: Chili sin Carne with rice
The renunciation of any animal products has a particularly positive effect on the CO2 balance. And the hack on a purely plant-based basis convinced because of its taste and its consistency also many meat eaters.
