War in Ukraine

The war in Ukraine concerns all of us.

We are shocked and concerned by the events. Our sympathy goes to all people affected by the terrible events in Ukraine. Therefore, it is of great concern to us not to leave those alone who are affected by the consequences of the war.

Social and psychotherapeutic counseling

As always, our Social Counseling Service and Psychotherapeutic Counseling Service (PBS) are open to students in any crisis situation. They also offer appointments on short notice if you need counseling or assistance related to current war events.

Information about the PBS counseling appointment with professionally qualified and trained graduate or master's psychologists can be found on the PBS page.

Our social counseling service can help you with financing questions. If you are in a financial emergency situation, you can receive up to 300 € per month for three months through the Seezeit emergency assistance without long waiting periods via the social counseling. Contact details can be found on the Social Counseling page. Information on emergency assistance is available in the counseling session and under financial aid.

Donations

We would like to give all guests of our facilities the opportunity to contribute in an uncomplicated and above all fast way to the now so important aid for Ukraine. You can donate 1.38 euros for humanitarian aid at our cash desks in all catering establishments. Please contact our cashiers for this purpose.

We have also increased the donation amount at our donation terminal on level K5 at the University of Konstanz from the original 10 cents to 1.38 euros. At the donation terminal, simply place your MensaCard on the reader and the amount will be debited automatically.

Please note that we cannot issue a donation receipt for this small amount at the cash registers and terminal.

"Konstanz Hilft"
With donations in kind (food/furniture/ equipment) and with the collected cash contributions, Seezeit supports the Kulturladen Konstanz e.V. and the Heimathafen Konstanz association, which is currently being founded.

The following locations offer a place to meet for Refugees from Ukraine:
Kula Konstanz: Every Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Heimathafen Konstanz: Every Thursday, 4.00 - 6.00 p.m.

We collected more than 1000 Euros at the E-Center Baur in Constance by selling cake. The cakes were baked by parents of the Seezeit Kinderhaus. The donations will support the aid projects of the Heimathafen Konstanz.
