From 1 March 2023, young people can travel by bus and train in Baden-Württemberg for just one euro per day. The "JugendticketBW" is a joint initiative of the state, the state and city districts and the transport associations. Students up to 27 years of age who are enrolled at our partner universities on Lake Constance receive the JugendticketBW even cheaper thanks to the "Studieredenwerk/Solidarbeitrag". In addition, the ticket for students is also available by semester and not just for the entire year.
The ticket is valid in all 19 transport associations of the federal state, with some exceptions (long-distance transport, ferries, OstwindTarif ...). All people up to the age of 21 who live in Baden-Württemberg can buy the ticket, as well as schoolchildren, students, trainees and people doing voluntary service up to the age of 27. The ticket can be purchased at the ordering offices of the transport association in which the purchaser lives or studies. Detailed and general information and the exceptions can be found on the website of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport bwegt.de (german version).
An overview of all Studi-Tickets at Lake Constance and also where and how you can buy the new "JugendticketBW" in the student version can be found on our information page on Studi-Tickets at Lake Constance.
