Tips for finding a room
The room allocation for the Winter semester 2022/23 in our residence halls in Konstanz, Weingarten and Friedrichshafen has been completed - all rooms there are already occupied. In Ravensburg there are still a few free places available. You can find the link to the online application for places in our residential complexes under "Living at Seezeit".
For all of you who are still looking for an affordable roof over your head, here are a few tips and alternatives that might be worth your while:
Private room exchange
In Seezeit's free room exchange, private landlords can post offers for students. Seezeit regularly calls for affordable housing to be rented to students before the semester begins. We expect more offers to be added in the coming days and weeks - so it's worth taking a look!

Other housing providers and room exchanges
In Constance, but also in Weingarten, other sponsors, e.g. the churches or private providers, operate other dormitories. Other room exchanges or newspaper advertisements can also help in the search for a suitable roof over your head. Increase search radius
We also advise you to not only search directly in the respective university city. With the respective Studi-Ticket as well as the Anschluss-Studiticket, it is possible to commute inexpensively between the place of study and the apartment. The rental prices and offers are usually more attractive outside the university cities and the competition is not as high. Students who study in Konstanz can also live in Switzerland. You can usually get a residence permit without any problems at the Bürgerbüro Konstanz.
