Donations to Seezeit

Donations allow us to provide quick and uncomplicated assistance to students in acute emergencies through the Seezeit Emergengy Fund when no other support is available. The fund helps ensure that students can continue or complete their studies successfully despite a crisis.

Another initiative supported by donations is the Freitisch program. Eligible students receive a credit on their cafeteria card, enabling them to eat free of charge in the Mensa.

Your donation to Seezeit is tax-deductible. You may claim up to 20 percent of your income as a special expense.

For donations up to €300, a simplified proof - such as a bank statement or transfer receipt - is sufficient. For larger donations, we will issue a donation receipt on request for tax purposes.

Seezeit Studierendenwerk Bodensee supports around 25,000 students in the Lake Constance region in social, economic, health-related, and cultural matters, contributing significantly to equal opportunities in education.

Under the Crescere umbrella, various foundations come together with the shared goal of inspiring people, growing together, and achieving greater impact.

Founded in 1997, VEUK strengthens connections between alumni and current students and promotes research and teaching at the university.

The association has been supporting the Seezeit Emergency Fund since 2016.

The University Society Konstanz (UGK e.V.) has long supported the university in key areas such as research, study, and teaching—both financially and in principle.

For many years, it has provided a substantial portion of the funds needed for the Freitisch program.

Part of the proceeds from the bottle deposit donation campaign benefits the Freitisch program.

In our job portal, you can post paid job listings—from part-time jobs to student assistant positions. The proceeds go directly to student projects and support programs such as the Freitisch or the Emergency Fund.

Whether flyers, an information booth in the Mensa, or an ad in the campus magazine Campuls—your advertisement reaches students directly while supporting our social initiatives.

In the campaign "Pfand gehört daneben" (“Deposits belong next to it”), you can visibly place your refundable bottles at all Seezeit locations—for example next to waste bins or in designated boxes. The collected deposits go toward the Freitisch program, supporting students who otherwise could not afford a hot meal.
