Many donations for Seezeit Nothilfe

Several generous donations from student organisations and student groups have reached Seezeit in the last weeks. The money, a total of about 2000 euros, will be used by the Studierendenwerk to help students who are in acute economic need in a simple and uncomplicated way.

Managing Director Helmut Baumgartl thanked for the donations: "We perceive great solidarity and helpfulness from students for students. I would like to express my greatest respect for this selfless action!"

Due to the corona crises, the social counselling service of Seezeit is currently registering more requests for quick financial help. Many students have lost their part-time job, which is often an important source of income. The "Nothilfe" should make it possible to continue the studies that have been successful so far. A maximum amount of up to 300 euros, for a maximum of three subsequent months, is planned. At the end of March, Seezeit had already increased the emergency aid by 5,000 euros from its own funds. An application can be made to the social counsellor Marlies Piper, who will be happy to answer all questions on this subject: marlies.piper[at]seezeit.com
